You misunderstand me, empty. There's no need to be so defensive. I am not against the NKT or the propitiation of Dorje Shukden. I'm not even a Buddhist. I am a graduate student working on a doctorate in Tibetan Studies and I have been doing research on Dorje Shukden. I asked those questions, not rhetorically, but in earnest, so that if I cite such instances of discrimination against Shukden practitioners in my research, I can reference something more substantial than a BBS discussion.

If you want a real look at this discrimination i suggest you send an email to the kundeling rinpoche or take a trip to dharmsala your self, there is a thread on the gelugpa section saying this place is run by the tgie that in its self is proof enough of their sectarian hatred of shugdens, not to mention that they have no spine and are incapable of doing anything without the dalai lamas say so, there are plenty of videos on youtube about whats happening to the dorje shugden followers.

People are people and they always take sides, you are either this or that. Black or white. Tibet or China. But honestly standing from a neutral ground, both your societies are doing similar things to each other. TGIE bans this and that, CPC bans this and that. Tibetans curse Chinese, Chinese curse Tibetans. What's the difference? And it goes on and on and round and round like samsara, never ending pain, suffering which is like what Dalai Lama say - Unnecessary Suffering! But the saddest part is Tibetans are attacking Tibetans. Now that is really sad especially when you guys claim to be a Buddhist nation.

I don't think Dorje Shugden did any of this because even if He could, according to the Dharma one must have the karma for it to happen. Hence, if we follow the laws of cause and effect - karma. Then it is just your karma to experience the lost of your country. Instead of blaming all on Dorje Shugden. I mean since when did Dorje Shugden became an enemy of the state? And if he is just a "spirit" why not just bind him like how Nechug also a spirit was binded - what's the big deal?

It sounds like all this chaos is created from within your own self. Why must Dorje Shugden take the blame for Tibets lost. Hey he was around for 300 years before even this ban was created.


One thing is for sure, whether you like it or not Dorje Shugden is going Global! Why because it's simple China will promote it so long as the Dalai Lama says stop!!
