The story of Lobsang Tsulthim of Kongtse-rawa |

In 1959 a monk from Lawa Khamtsen of Sera Jey Lobsang Tsulthim of Kongtse-rawa, Kham area escaped to India. After arriving to India he got admission in the Indian army. His primary protector deity was Paden Lhamo (Ír¥dev¥) and later he abandoned it. He entrusted his life force to Dogyal from Zong Rinpoche and from that time he made a firm commitment to rely on him and will comply according to his wishes.
Around 1980 he retired from the army and came to Sera, South India. While living in Sera he had had many times of nightmares. His neighbors also narrate such incidences. When the trauma worsens he particularly becomes very angry, fearful and suffocation and immediate supplicate to Dogyal. After that a son of his sister came from his hometown became a novice but died after a prolonged disease. In addition, among his two monk students from near by camp Gyuma Ngawang died of paralysis and Jati Gelong left him as a rebellion. After that Lobsang Tsulthim became mentally unsound and went back to Tibet where he made retreat but died as lunatic. Thus, he underwent fifteen to twenty different signs of evil forecasts, which others monks have not confronted and surely everyone know it was due to hindrances of the Dogyal.
Similarly, there is a household called Jampal Dorjee at Thimon in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The family does not worship Dogyal, as the protector. However, Denma Gyalse Tulku, an ex-Abbot of Tawang Monastery was a strong worshipper of Dogyal and disseminated its practice far and wide. The family of Jampal Dorjee had close relation and had a great faith to ex-Abbot. After sometimes, the land near his got a big crack and then Gyalse Talk was invited for prayer and homa (ritual sacrifice). However, it didn't pacify but more disasters followed. For instance, his tempo collided with a truck and later after a year or so his truck fell in the precipice and many people died for which he had to compensate the casualties. Nevertheless, as he had had an unwavering faith to Gyalse Tulku he did not know the source of the misfortunes even though GyalseTulku's performed the prayer etc. So he referred to the medium of diety ‘Nyari Gyechen Karma Thinley’ and he was told that when you are happy you don’t remember me and take refuge to another evil spirit, so saying the spirit disappeared. After that he became mad and committed suicide by consuming pesticide (which was for apple their apple plantation). Similarly, his relatives were in good and harmonious relationship. After getting close relation with Gyalse Tulku, thence new litigations relating to land and house propped up and various misfortunes occurred among the relatives. This entire stem from their close association with Dogyal followers and can be clearly be verified.
